We have now released details of how businesses and community groups can show their support for the LGBT+ community by getting involved in the celebrations on Saturday 27th July. We are open for people to book stalls in Chapelfield Gardens and the Forum; to book places on the Pride March; purchase advertising space in the Norwich Pride Guide and sponsor the celebrations with a variety of packages.
Coral Innes, the Head of Income Generations and Fundraising at Norwich Pride says:
“It’s a historic year for Norwich Pride. It’s 50 years since the Stonewall Riots sparked the modern LGBT+ rights movement and inspired the first Pride March. We have designated July as Pride Month in Norwich and have got a packed programme of activities starting with Pride Week in Schools. We will be launching the Pride Guide on Friday 28th June – the date of the Stonewall Riots. There’s never been a better time to get involved in Norwich Pride and show the city that you are a business or organisation that values your LGBT+ staff and clients and you positively celebrate equality and diversity.”
