Youth, Families and Education Team

We are the Norwich Pride Youth, Families and Education Team. We formed at the start of 2010. Here are our aims:

1. To help set up and work alongside a support group for LGBT Families.
2. To offer support to young people questioning their identity.
3. To raise awareness of LGBT issues amongst young people generally.
4. To help make young people a vibrant and visual part of Norwich Pride.

Rainbow Families Norfolk

In February 2010 we had our first ever event - "The Penguin Party". It was a magical afternoon and over 15 young people came. We had story tellers, poetry, games, magic, fancy dress, music and firemen. From this, a support group was formed, called "Rainbow Families Network". You contact the group in several ways:

BLAH Youth Group

BLAH Youth Group is a safe space for gay, lesbian and bisexual young people as well as those questioning their sexuality aged 25 and under to meet others. If you would like to attend BLAH at either of our groups in Norwich or Kings Lynn then please get in touch. Email : info@blahyouth.co.uk
