Routes

AA Route Planner
BBC Travel News - Roads
Frixo Road Traffic Reports

Routes into Norwich:
  • From the South West - A11 - Cambridge. If you are travelling from London / Stansted Airport by road, this is also your best bet; use the M11 then the A11, which is mostly dual carriageway.
  • From the south - A140 - Ipswich, Diss. Also from London via the A12 past Chelmsford and Colchester. However, the A140 is mostly single carriageway; travel to Norwich from London by road is likely to be quicker via the M11/A11.
  • From the east - A47 - Great Yarmouth. Mostly single carriageway.
  • From the west - A47 - King's Lynn. Mostly single carriageway.
  • From the north - A140 Cromer. Single carriageway.
