The Pride Portrait Award 2011

Let's capture the diversity of the people of pride!

Calling all LGBT inspired artists to send in portraits in any style or medium for an exhibition in
St. Gregory's Centre for the Arts
throughout July 2011

Times: 12 noon - 6 pm Venue: St Gregory's Centre for The Arts Cost: ?5 or ?3 concessions to exhibit a piece of art

The Norwich Pride Arts Team invite you to send us portraits in any style or media to exhibit as part of the Norwich Pride Portrait Gallery at St Gregory's Centre for The Arts , Pottergate throughout July 2011.

We are open to all ideas and forms - today we were offered a sculpture of a sheep made out of barbed wire called Barbie! We've also got people working on films and animations, lots of photos coming in and some gorgeous mixed media paintings. It's going to be amazing!

This is an Open Exhibition - you do not have to be an established artist to take part. Our aim is to capture the wonderful diversity of people who come to Pride.

It costs ?5 or ?3 concessions to exhibit a piece of art.

We're going to have a Cocktail Party on 1st July to open the exhibition.

We will grant the Pride Portrait Award 2011 to the artist whose work gets the most votes from people visiting the exhibition.

The Pride Portrait Gallery is just one of the exhibitions on the Pride Arts Trail that will be festooning the city in fabulous art in galleries and caf?s and bars throughout June, July and August.
