Pride Live! & My Pride Life

Norwich Pride has its own radio show every Monday from 7 to 8pm on 108.7fm!

Pride Live is Future Radio’s show from the LGBT Community for everyone.

The show features guests, National and Global LGBT News plus Norwich Pride updates, we review LGBT arts and culture (with much popular culture!) and share the scene’s best Indie and Dance tunes.

We’ve talked with Brian Dowling, Michael Cashman, Joan Armatrading and Heather Peace on the phone and recorded interviews with David McAlmont, Peter Tatchell and SJ Watson. We’ve been first with news from the London Gay Games campaign, we were a key player in assuring Michael Johnson’s resignation from the FA following his persistent homophobia and we regularly offer a platform to gender queer blogger CN Lester.

As well as our niche LGBT audience who catch the broadcast (shared with Ipswich’s Community Radio Station ICRFM) and our podcast, many of those who hear Pride Live are mainstream Future Radio listeners who stay tuned after Drivetime. Every week in Pride Live they hear about ongoing issues which can still marginalise the LGBT community and every week the LGBT community is that bit bigger, more diverse and more apparent.
