Ever wondered who exactly is on the Norwich Pride Collective? Here's a pic from our Brunch the week before Pride. There are 30+ volunteers who work in 10 teams - Events, Campaigns, Money, Arts, Publicity, Community, Youth+Families, Planning, Web, Hospitality. If you want to join the collective, the selection process is simple - get involved and be as active and positive as you can. Volunteering as a steward is one of the best ways for us to get to know people. The key qualities we look for in Pride Collective members are: good values, talents and a positive "can do" attitude. The rewards are phenomenal - you can help create a day that will change people's lives and make the world a better place. And you get a free bagel at least once a year.

Here are the friendly faces of the collective who helped to organise the first Norwich Pride which took place in 2009. We are a group of ordinary people from the LGBT community who started meeting in November 2008. We were amazed and encouraged by the tremendous amount of support and goodwill we have had for Norwich Pride and it was a fantastic celebration.   |
